People who either visit my Tegaki or my LiveJournal have seen a version of this- a version in which I was stuck with colouring with web colours and my experimental shading with the newfangled opacity tool which didn't turn out so hot. BUT- I was so fond of the actual DRAWING I had taken screenshots of it at various stages, including the lineart phase. Of course, I had to get rid of the blue understructure, but Photoshop makes it easy to do those things.
Anyway, I didn't want my good drawing to be forever ruined by sunburned colouring and bad shading so I took it up in Photoshop and gave it a proper colour job. Perhaps the lineart will never be nice and clean, but it looks lightyears better. Also I did something weird with the cel shading I think I like. tl;dr I know. Sorry for the influx of canines, gryph fans.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
